A common cause for swarming is when the population of the colony needs to divide and one group of bees will leave the colony (swarm) and find a new place to live. During a swarm these bees will temporarily gather in a place (such as in trees) while they look for a new location to live. If you spot a swarm on your property, call us as soon as possible.
